Web application for an advertising media planning: User experience analysis and interface design

This web application is designed to allow the client to manage the budget to be used plan his advertising on the Medias.
The System allows the client to manage budget and distribute it according to different variables, such as geographic areas (market areas or countries), magazines, targets (men, women, children).
Media Planning allows the cliente to set the scheduling in a visual media, so he always have a quick view on the distribution of his advertising in different periods (weeks, months, quarters, years). With this web application,the client can also manage the shipment of photos to publish in each media, and create a database of advertising divided by language, photographer, and many other variables.
This web application also keeps track of, for each publication, all the procedures to publish advertising on magazines and have a look (with many reports available) to budget, total costs, target reached, countries, magazines used in a campaign, etc..
This project was developed in 2007.

Role in this project

As an employee of Taiprora, I did a preliminary analysis together with the customer and I have been involved in the subsequent user experience analysis, the UX user nterface design. I also coded the whole graphic interface in HTML + CSS + JavaScript for developers, who implemented the project in Microsoft. NET + SQL database.
