Design and coding for a video on demand web application for Automotive (2010)
Per la rete Intranet aziendale di un brand automotive, Taiprora ha sviluppato una web application per la visualizzazione di Video on demand per il training on-the-job del personale per l'assemblaggio dei motocicli; l'applicazione รจ stata installata su una serie di postazioni fruibili direttamente dagli assemblatori sulla catena di produzione.
This intranet web application was created in Microsoft .NET and uses a player in Adobe Flash technology for viewing videos.
This project was developed in 2010.
Role in this project
Within the Taiprora development team, I dealt with the UX analysis (reducing the video selection time was the main goal), then with the UI design, creating - at first - wireframes and then html prototypes for customer approval.
Then, I developed the interface in HTML and CSS, both for the Front End and for the Administration section (Back-end); these pages was pages completed by the development team with db connections.
About this customer
This project was developed for the Italian production plant of a world-leading brand in the production of motorcycles.
The plant is capable of producing over 650,000 units between maximoto and power units (data referred to 2010).
